Ford does have the ability to rein in the dealers on ADM’s they chose not to yet. They’ve done it on the Lightning and pulled back EV chargers from dealers who abused the privilege of selling them. So it’s fine if someone is pissed about paying an ADM. What difference does it make besides upsetting your delicate sensibilities?

LOL pulled back EV chargers? So Ford hurts the consumers and NOT the dealers. The Manufacturer has no say on what the dealer sells the dealers car for because the dealer owns them (or bank if floor planned).

When I was stationed in 29 Palms back in the late 90's, the nearest car dealerships were in Yucca Valley. They all had a $2,500 ADM for new cars. We drove to San Bernardino or Riverside to look at new cars.

When I was researching and calling local dealerships to ask about allocations and ADMs, one dealer website had a $5,000 ADM on a base EcoBoost. Crazy times indeed...
