Jim Owens really falls outside of his wheelhouse when he refers back to the original 69-70 Mach 1's, plenty of mistakes there, inferring that there was a 428 and a 428 Cobra Jet (they were all CJ's, just ram-air or non-ram-air), inferring that you had to order the 428 to get the shaker, and yada yada...

And I don't understand how the Mach 1 kicked off personalization, with the SCADS of various options and trims and engines and interiors and nick-nacks that you could order-up on 65-68 GT's. The Mach 1 was just an extension of what the original 1965 Mustang already brought to the table, in regard to personalization.

Hey Jim, if you wanna talk about personalization, offer us an interior color OTHER than damn black!! LOL..

I'm still salivating over that appearance/handling package car. :)

I’m digging it. Bravo Ford!! A performance Ford for all budgets.
Forget the whipple SC, I would go Turbo or pro-charger on that beauty.
