2011 GT500 Mcleod RXT Gear not disengaging after new install

Hi there, I have a 2011 GT500 in which we recently upgraded the clutch to a Mcleod RXT, we also replaced the slave cylinder (OEM) and the Clutch master along with a new mcleod line.

The car shifts fine when accelerating and rowing up through the gears, however when downshifting (say coming to a stop light/sign) the transmission sticks in gear. It is an intermittent problem, happening 60% of the time. Clutch pedal feels non stock, very high, but its the 1st time I drive a car with an RXT so not sure is normal, but, it is very diferent than stock. I have tried every method of bleeding the system that I know of...gravity, vacuum (per service manual), elevated the left front overnight. I'm 400 miles into the brake in period.

Any sugestions?

The S197 Guru’s will be jumping in to help shortly. In the meantime,
Please click your upper right avatar/account settings/vehicle details and enter your car year. It then shows under your screen name, which helps in conversations here. We cover multiple years of the GT500 on this forum. (Remember to click Save)

Also, we encourage everyone to put their first name in their signature to make this place more friendly (click your upper right avatar to get there)(You’ll need to save this as well) Let us know if you have any forum questions.

Did you bleed throwout bearing on the bench? Also possibe the line is pinched somewhere when slowing down.

Hi, yes, we bleed the bearing several times. When you come to a stop the gear stays in, don't want to force it out as soon as you accelerate then you can do regular shifting without any issues.

Sounds like the stack height is off. Stack height can act like the clutch is not disengaging.
When my RXT was installed, it was hard getting in gear & shifting & pedal height was really high. Sent clutch back to McLoud and they said stack height to high.
