I was out in the Shelby yesterday and stopped in a local Ford dealer to pick up a 2010 catalog (also saw a 2010 GT 500 convertible Kona blue white stripe..cool car) Anyway, inside the catalog they have a section for accessories. It included a SUPER PACK for the GT 500 a different blower that boosts the power to 605 HP. Also, had side scoops and all kinds of goodies. Can you order these from the factory or are they ordered and put on by the dealer?

The 2010 Super Pack isn't listed yet, but when it is you will be able to find it on the Ford Racing site and order it through your dealer.

It's too bad there aren't a lot of ordering options like there were back in the 60's. Understandably I'm sure it's more of a hassle for Ford than it would be worth, but it would be nice to have a car set up just how you want it from the factory. Scary thing is though that in the 60's upgrading to a big block and several other performance enhancements maybe added $1k to the car. Today you could easily add $20k.
