65k miles. Took the car 90 mph today and grinded the reverse gear trying to land 5th. TR-6060 is supposed to have a speed-controlled reverse lockout, not sure if mine wasn't working or if it's possible to overcome it. With car running, shifting into reverse with clutch fully engaged leads to a loud and rough reverse engagement/clunk. Jars the whole car. Problem is not constant, though occurs most of the time. If I shift into 5th or 6th and then reverse, the problem occurs less often. What's going on?

Just trying 4th to 5th? and getting reverse. Is question one?
Two is while parked going into reverse clunk ? Any grinding before the clunk?

On the later, might have answer. Haven't had the issue going into 5th.

1. If I first shift into 5th, then slowly engage reverse, the issue is less frequent. Also, if pushing the shifter away from my body at an angle when going into reverse, problem occurs more frequently.
2. No grinding when parked

Of note, if I turn the car off, engage reverse, then start the car in reverse, the problem doesn't occur; more of a diagnostic than a fix, but what does this diagnose?

A video would be helpful for each condition.

The above is true for my car: when the car is off, I can smoothly go through all gears, including reverse. When I start the car though, it is a little difficult to get through the gears (just requires more effort, I was told this is due to the robust gears in the TR-6060 transmission), and reverse occasionally will clunk. Here is another video that, I think, rules out the universal joint:

In your first video it seems to me that all the gears you were shifting into was more difficult than it should. Reverse being the lowest gear it made the noise which makes the clutch suspect.
