Rainbow of Colors Promotion Car

The color option on this car saved it from being parted out. Mr Jim Jordan did a beautiful job of restoring my ‘68 Orange Crate when he discovered that it is a rare “Rainbow of Colors” promotional car. These cars were only offered in the Los Angeles ordering district for a few months. This car is painted Calypso Coral (called Flower Power Red for the promotion). It’s a 289/2bbl; C4 automatic car with a black vinyl top. It’s also a factory interior console car with factory AC.

All original.

This car did not have the current black “C” stripe from the factory. It came with a black stripe down the “cheat line”. I replaced the factory steel wheels and wire wheel covers, with original mags from a ‘68 fastback. The only other items that are not stock: 1. Split rear valance with dual exhaust; and, 2. GT fog lights.
