I'll brake the mold and mention some upside: Preeeettty sure these aren't sold on the market? If so, this person fabricated this part. I don't like it, but I respect the skills. 🤣
I’m actually glad you broke that mold.

Hey. My 1st car had fender skirts! This isn’t the actual car but was identical year & color scheme (IF I COULD ONLY GO BACK & TELL MY 16 Y/O SELF TO KEEP THAT CAR 🥲)

It was my dad’s hand me down.
472 CI V8.
No B pillars or door window frames. 8 body trunk (allegedly)
THAT was a fun car.

Oh, and no, not on a Mustang. Nope

Dang Sam that had to be a helluva make out car…I mean that back seat the things I use to could do back there. My first was a 64 Chevy Impala SS and about as long and that huge back seat…oh the memories 😎!

1967 Chrysler Newport, First car I owned, bought it from my father, took of the fender skirts and had fatter tires Crager wheels, put dual exhaust and a 4BLL manifold and carb, nice RV Camshaft and traded for a set of 906 Castings 440 heads, and bingo had a decent car, I beat several 1st Gen Camaros, Mustangs, Chevelle's and Mustangs and even a few Roadrunners and other Mopars who were mostly stock, The Newport had a 383 big block so the 440 heads especially 906 casting had better air flow.

Drove it until I had enough money to buy the 1969 GTX, My dad when I told him I was going to sell the Newport, said you can't sell it, it is mine. I said Dad if you remember I bought it from you? He said oh okay, I'll buy it back, but I don't want those wheels, tires, and put it back as it was. So I did, took off the mag wheels, tires, put his fender skirts back on and lowered back to stock height, As I did jack it up.

But the Dual exhaust stayed it wasn't real loud, and the engine mods stayed, so the first few times he drove it, he says to me what did you do to the car? It is running real good, has more acceleration, more get up and go. I said just tuned it up:ROFLMAO:

:p :love::love:

my first was a 1950 Ford

cost: $49 ( ~'62) talked him down from $60
engine: 239ci flathead, did not run
trans: 3spd on col, w/an overdrive that did not work
brakes: drums all around, both front were rusted frozen, pass side rear had a broken drum
steering/linkage: trashed
tires: two were flat, all were old and cracked
seats: back was missing, front bench was worn to the springs on driver side
windshield: spider cracks completely across
color: some of the 'faded powder blue' was on it
...best described as Junk...

Me: I was 14 yo when I bought it, working at a "SKELLY OIL" station. a 'friend' of the station owner had and sold it to me. I spent the best part of the next 2 years repair/rebuilding all the mechanical at the station. A lot of used parts. But, it was mine and safe enough to drive when I got my Lisc at 16.
This was the ONLY way I would of had a car

kind of looked like this, but did have 'some' powder blue paint!
