All sounds amazing, but there were some “shoulds” in that article... we shall see what it actually does when the rubber hits the road. Also, “Faster then an F-16 to 180 mph” sounds impressive, but the jet weighs a crap ton more and is a bit slow out of the hole since it is relying on jet thrust and no direct drive. If the car could beat the F-16 to 600 knots, that would be seriously amazing! >
I guess when Ferrari moved their design in-house, that left Pininfarina needed to come up with their own product line. The huge expense of ICE driveline development is no more.

I hear ya on the hair dryer piece, and I’m not a huge electric car fan (yet??? [emoji33]) but 0-60 under 2 seconds with the instant torque of electric is appealing to say the least regardless, you gotta admit! [emoji6][emoji12][emoji16]
I think these types of electronic cars are fun, but in my world that car is the dumbest thing there is. Now the scientist in me is fascinated with exotic electric and hybrid engines and performance.
The only thing I will say is Carroll Shelby is our (American implied) Enzo Ferrari, so owning something with his name on it means something...well to me anyway.
I bet this car would be a handful and they will sell everyone of them to rich folk who “collect” things.
Beautiful car and brilliant engineering for people who will probably park it for the majority of its life.
How many poor little children will suffer gruesome ends as the silent lightning bolt just ran them over. If you think about it our Shelby’s are equipped with the best safety device...that intoxicating sound. Ahhhhhhhhh
