Default Lower grill removal tool

I am having a hell of a time trying to remove the lower grill. Ive searched the forums and found little responses besides remove the bumper and such. It is not an issue of access to the clips but actually removing the clips. They are in very tight and can not get them to move enough to push out. For anyone that has removed theirs, what tool did you use?

Not an easy task even with the bumper cover off.
I used a few flat head screw drivers and worked one clip at a time, using the second driver to hold one clip open while I worked the next.
Good luck.

Yep - remove the bumper and then take your time. No "easy" way around it.

Well after removing the bumper and looking at all the clips it would actually be impossible to remove the lower grill without removing the bumper. Those clips were on there too. I decided to sacrifice the lower grill to save any damage to the bumper itself by cutting 5 of the clips off.
