I know this thread is in here somewhere but it was pretty dated so I am starting a new one.

I have an 09 and I am really wanting to add a KB 2.8. I know about the void of warranty and such and I am willing to take the chance. This is my 3rd mustang, 2nd Shelby and I have never (knock on wood) had a major problem of any kind with the car. Hubby is more reserved than I am, I have already made many changes to the car...pulley, CAI, throttle body, exhaust, tune, MGW shifter, etc I figure I have already voided the warranty.

I guess my reservations are: is the KB worth it? I have read about the customer service. I am going to have it installed, we aren't going to do it ourselves. I have also read it is just preference between KB and Whipple. Is the Whipple a better deal?

I am looking for about 650rwhp, this car is my daily driver and will occasionally be at the drag strip.

If money not a problem and neither was the loss of warranty what would you do between the KB and Whipple. I do not want a Hellion system.

I have a set of ford racing mufflers for sale. They have been on the car for about 3000 miles and are in great condition. Just installed Long tubes and its to loud for me. 325 shipped and paypalled.

On ebay there is a sweet looking gt500 with 400 miles on it. Buy it now 37k. I think it is a pretty good deal. Its in Winona, MN Probley could even work the price down a little bit more. If that was in Florida I would be buying it... minnesota is a little far away.. well I hope someone can grab this thing up cause i feel its a good deal. Color is gray, my eyes are kind of bad I cant tell if the stripes are white or silver also... but anyways looks pretty good looking. I hope this is help to someone!

Gentlemen, I have become recently obsessed with the GT500 so I joined this fine forum. I currently have no Mustang but simply want to "eavesdrop" on the discussions of these iconic machines. I live in Dallas Texas and forsee a 500 in the future. So forgive my impending ignorant questions ;-)

What a rush!

Yesterday I took my car out to an isolated road that has been recently resurfaced. It has some extremely long straight of ways not that it's really needed as it only took seconds to get to 140 MPH!

First of all let me say I'm not a fan of high speeds. I like the 0 to 60 punch along with that suttle whine of the SC lot more but I just had to do this. I had a 2006 GTO and I never took her over 125 MPH and I've always regretted it. This GT500 feels so much more secure at holding the line at speed.

I got a big supprise when I hit the rev limiter in fourth gear at 140. I wanted to go on to 150 but I saw another car in the distance so I brought it back down. 150+ will have to wait for another day!

When to upgrade fuel system??

I have read lots of info and have got a plan of attack for my 07 now, just had one question. Naturally I am going to do the "entry level" mods- CAI, Tune, and Upper pulley.... but I am also considering a lower pulley as well. I was going to do them all at the same time and rely on a custom tune via email to control the A/F till i get to a dyno to see some numbers. I was just curious at what power level is it necessary to start upgrading the stock fuel system?? Better safe than sorry I always say

Lower Control Arm Question

Can aftermarket LCA's change the handling if they are the same length of the OEMs and mounted in the same location? Contrary to many on this forum, I actually like the looks of my stock ride height and do not wish to lower the car. But I sure would like to limit wheel hop when drag racing. I've read in this forum where some have installed LCA's only and claimed it stopped their wheel hop.:confused:
