Hi all,
I just got a screw in my front left tire. My car only has 4k miles on it, very little tread wear. Anyone had any experience or know if there's a road hazard warranty with with the factory Goodyear F1 G2's? Possibly a pro-rated tire wear replacement price? Would it be possible to use this on both fronts and replace them as a set to keep them matched as far as wear goes?
I'm in Germany so repair of the tire is not possible, they wont repair any high speed rated tires here.(understandably)

:ugh:

I got a screw in my right front GF1 on my 2011. Bought a new tire. If you are looking for a freebie forget it.

:ugh:I would first check to see if it's leaking, take the screw out it my not have full penetration.

I don't know if the factory warranty in Germany includes road hazard coverage but it doesn't here in the US.

It does suck. Call the local Ford dealer near you and ask if there is road hazard coverage on the OEM tires. If not, don't risk the chance, buy another tire.

Sorry about your tire! Road hazards are a pain!

Let us know how it turns out, those tire warranties are tricky.

I got screwed a couple of weeks ago... I mean my tire did. :silly:

Cost $18 for a quick patch, good as new. I was lucky it went in between the treads.

Doesn't your tire lose it's speed rating if it's been patched?

The speed rating is the issue here.

I got lucky!! Got the screw pulled and, no leak! All is well!
