Nice setup. What did the zr1 run and what mods did he have?

Very nice video. I couldn't really see the time or who won. But that god awful music. I had to mute my sound real quick. I was hoping for some dialog, commentary or car sounds, not that racket. Reminds me of some of the radio control R/C videos, just some really hard rock soundtracks which have you grabbing to turn down or turn off the volume.

They were not, at this track they tear the slip in half. I only have my part of the slip....sorry :(

Well if you don't know his time you should know if you won or lost?! Obviously if you lost then he must have run better than 10.1 but that is an impressive time easily better than a stock ZR1. And since a stock ZR1 makes 638 flywheel horsepower that is quite a jump to 810 rwhp!! Makes you wonder just how much money he has suck into that thing since it costs over $100,000 to start with.

I used to live in Irving and have had some dealings with LG Motorsport in Cedar Hill (I think since they moved from Garland).

Yes I did win.. The deal was if I lost I would change my plate.

Yes he would. I'll try to get his times and post up.

Sorry about the stupid questions but I've never been to a track before so not really sure what I'm looking at. Makes me think that maybe I'm overdue for a time at the track. Now if I can only figure out where one is around here.

Nice run, my first track day of the season will be April 23 BUT
no more runs with slicks till the last day of the season because, no roll cage, or harness.

Also bought some new DR's and had too replace my Throttle Body because
on my last track day I bent the butterflies on the Throttle Body( bought a twin 78mm )


But Ford Racing did give me my money back on the Throttle Body after 3 phone calls and 6 emails took 8 weeks and the last email I sent wasn't pretty.

I will do a new PB run on the last day of the season.
Current: PB run 1/4 10.201 @ 140.16mph 60'1.403 on pump 92 gas!

I'm sure there are plenty out there with fewer mods running better times.


I feel lucky that I have an awsome tuner within 5 min from my house, He has given spot on advice over the past 3 years and I've been able to have a lot of fun with my Shelby.

I don't think he ran that quick, Snake08 said he ran a 10.1, the Vette jumped the start and lost. if he ran that quick he's have crossed the line first IMHO. it's .05 different ET which is about a MOV of 10 ft (based on the ETs) and yet the Shelby was across the line first.
