I was just wandering if anybody is interested in fender protectors.I have a call into the vendor to check price and how many I would have to get made.These are the ones they use in the factory when they assemble the Mustangs.They are very nice and they protect the paint well.Here is a picture,it's the blue part of the fender.Right now it would be just the front fenders.What do you think?

:o I do both especially when I'm confused.The fender covers are molded and fit like a glove:D :D

What kind of material are they made of? I might be interested if the price doesn't break the bank.

I will tell you exactly what it is made of tomorrow.I talked to him briefly but he is calling back tomorrow.The outside is a type of plastic and the inside that goes on the fender is a foam like material.That's about as technical as I can get at this point.He's checking to see if they have any extra from the last run they made.I'll see if I can take some pictures to give you a better understanding.

The vendor just called me back.The blue cover that is in the picture is the old style.It was made of ABS and prone to cracking after a period of time.The new ones are Polyethelene and are black in color.The inside is foam.The cost is $150.00 for the set(front left and front right).I bought a set today and he is bring them up to work this afternoon.If it isn't too late when I get home tonight I will take some pictures and post them.If not I will tomorrow.
