What year is your car? Depends on the size of the stock rims. M&H 28" if your gears can handle it. M/T 305/35/18's if you're on a 07-09 18" wheel.

If you have 3.31s dont do a taller tire (like the M&H). 3.55s...debatable.
3.73s....yeah. 4.10s....ab-so-friggin-lutely.

With my tire height, for how I use my car, yes.

For street and street tires, no.

how about 4.10's with a 27" tire mostly on the street with occasional track use? or should i just stick with my 3.55's?

I'd say use 3.73's. I also have 4.10's but I was a 28" tire.

I'm thinking that a 4.10 gear with a 27" street tire is going to be too much. I've got a 27" tire going to a 28.3 or something like that very soon - just waiting for them to arrive at the shop (Nitto NT05 295/45 on the rear) on stock rim. Right now 3.73 with street tire at 27", and 1st is fairly useless and ramps up VERY fast, and is on the "a bit too much" side of things. I think the new tire height will more closely resemble a 3.55 gear according to a website calculator I used... I'm at about 550/550 Tq/HP at the wheels for now.

Go with 3.90's. With the different 5th and 6th gear on the 10's and 11's you should be fine on the highway.

Agreed. Unless you're gonna race your car a lot and you use a 28" tire, the 4.10s are too much for my taste. Again, mine nets out to around 3.96-3.99 with my gear and tire and it puts me across the line at 6400 in 4th. Perfect for what I want to do. If I were you I'd use a 3.90 or a 3.73 if I couldn't find a quiet 3.90
