Went to the track the other night in my stock 10 and ran much better times than before. If you recall my prior threads I was having trouble getting the car to go faster than 110mph. Anyways, I did cheat a bit and added a Lethal tune for a stock 2010 and some drag radials this time. It probably wasn't the best night to go, but it was the last night of the season. Air temps were 44 degrees and dropped to the upper 30's by the end of the night with a strong head wind. DA came out to 27'. This was Atlanta Dragway which is known for being a terrible track.
1st pass
60' 2.0
1/4 12.31
mph 116.3
2nd pass
60' 1.89
1/4 12.51
mph 108
had a hard time getting in 4th on this one and coasted a while trying to get it in gear. Would have been a low low 12 I think.
3rd pass
60' 2.2
1/4 12.56
mph 114
the track was gone at this point and everyone was spinning. It took me about 45 minutes to get through the staging lanes, so the car was hot by this time.
The drag radials didn't seem to do that much, but I'm sure it's because the track was cold and real slick to begin with. Had I been on street tires I'm sure I would have just spun the whole way. The Lethal tune seemed to make a huge difference in the car on the track and on the street. Well worth the money that I spent.
Anyways, the car club I'm in has a track day at the end of the month in south GA that I'm going to. It's a very good track with excellent prep. I'm hoping for some more consistent low 12's maybe even a high 11.
