I haven't posted here in a while. It's been almost two months now since i ran the car for the first time at the track. I had no intentions on going until my neighbor's son-in-law came in from out of town wanting to take his honda to the track to have fun. I had just filled the tank with gas too. I said what the hell i'll go.
Spun the tires just enough to clean them.
Traction control off
Didn't let any air out of the tires (Nitto 285/40/18 NT555R's)
Left the line just under 2000rpm
Didn't power shift at all
I was babying the car i guess you could say instead of busting it in the ass.
60' was a crappy 2.02
ET 12.26 @ 117mph
I'll see if i have the slip in the glove box still. I thought it wasn't too bad considering how easy i drove it off the line and not powershifting the car. Perhaps with a little more aggression, less tire pressure, less fuel, and a little more practice, she would be in the 11's. What do you fellas think?
Oh, mods are metco 2.6, JLT, Afco h/e, Roush extreme of road cat back exhaust, and a dyno tune.

Temps were upper 80's with humidity around 80%.
