Congrats. If you're running that much tire, bring your launch up to 4000+ and you'll drop that 60' in a heartbeat.

This was first time out with the car. I am leave for Iraq again in a few day, the car is getting a cage and 9' rear end put in it while i am gone. I tried leave highrer and it would spin. I had the a 05 gt running 12.20's on the motor and 11.30's on the bottle launching at 6200 before this car. Goal is to put in mid 10's on the stock blower. I car weighed 3660 plus my 210lbs fat ass, very happy with just can't wait to get back for deployment to play with again.

Thanks everyone, the cage will be put in by Hauf Racing they were the Pro 5.0 champs a few years ago and good friends, he is also going to help me get the susp. set up to 60ft better, would like to see 1.4-1.3 range. I will be collecting parts while I am in Iraq also, the parts will be.

How the hell did you get to 3600 pounds?? No rear axle? Leave the motor out? Nutri-System?

My car's so heavy it's got a double chin.

I got it to 3660 with no rear seat ,no passanger seat, swaybar delete, inner fender wells out, no windshield washer bottle, the offroad x-pipe is a lot lighter also, and a 1/4 tank of gas. This was weighed on a truck stop scale so maybe it was off? Much more weight loss will happen when i get home. With my 210lbs fat ass it weighed 3870.

I run without a rear. Unbolting the passenger for next weekend because I'll need all I can get (running a factory Z28 mule and a factory Challenger race car). I still may get my butt handed to me. Both automatics. Both 700+ rwhp.

I figure I have less weight because of:

stock GT500 curb weight- 3920

Bogarts vs stock wheels. -40
M&Hs vs stock tires. -10
Aluminum driveshaft. -20
Innovators 10% -8
JBA catted x -5
Stingers -5
Front sway -10
Rear seat -15
Fuel level 96 (full) 24 (race) -70

-183

3737

Added weight:
Hood +8
Afco and fan +5
DS loops front & rear +10
Suspension mods +5

3737
+ 28

3765
+210 (driver/ not nude)

3975 total race weight

So, you are 100 lbs less than me and we weigh the same (and carry about the same fuel).

I'll blast her onto some scales at the track next Sunday if they have them running. Can't do it at a truck stop because I wouldn't have the skinnies on (cant run them on the road).

I need to cut off a thigh.

Hey BJ are you sure yours weighed 3920 stock, my weighed 3850. Here are all my numbers

inner wheel wells -6
Washer bottle with fluid -8
08 balancer from 07 -11
small battery (EXT 14) -21
O/R X-Pipe -13
rearseat with all belts and brackets -29
passenger seat -50
swaybar and rad. support(replaced with bmr delete) -27
replaced brembo's with GT brakes -16
trunk mat and all side panels and covers -12
KR mufflers -?

-193

I have metco UCA and bracket, LCA's and relocation brackets, and steeda 3-point torque box braces on, they may have add a few pounds. The 05 17inch rear wheels with the M/T tires are a little ligher. The cage will add 85 lbs when it is put in, still hoping to get in the 3500lbs range with the driveshift, holeshoots wheels, strange drag brakes, and bmr K-member & a-arms will also have a light weight drivers seat to put in at the track. I usually lose 20lbs in Iraq hopfully i can keep it off this time when i get back, 3 time is the charm right.

BJ I just noticed your are from the Chicago area, I am originally from Des Moines Iowa but now live in Dupont Washington. I use to run at Byron and cordova back in the day on a drag bike (8.90 class). I was up at Cedar Falls with the car last weekend after i drove here back 1800 miles to my uncles shop. That is were it will stay and get the work down while i am gone. Would like to meet over at Byron sometime when i get home, I always ran good there on the bike.

I love this car drove it 1800 miles from washington to iowa, ran her up to 163mph on the gps in montana on the way home and then ran 11.20's at the track all in a 5day span. Also got a ticket for 96 in a 75 in Idaho, that sucked

if you didn't remove the speed limiter that mph is inaccurate. the computer has you limited to 155 mph.
