Not to be left out of the horsepower crazy, Saleen is also bringing a new car to market. Saleen's top of the line Mustang, the S281 Extreme pumps out 550 horsepower. Saleen will also introduce their new product at the New York Show on 13 April at 2:50pm, est.

Something like this could be a good alternative for someone who wants the GT 500 for the performance that it offers. I think a lot of the people paying crazy money over MSRP now for them are simply the people who have to be the first to own one of these. Much like any other limited production vehicle the prices will drop when something new comes along.

Saleen is a good vehicle... but I've never been CRAZY about their visual mods... a little much for me. But, we'll see how this works out.

With a base price of $68,345... I will DEFINATELY pass.
