Recently i installed the Afco HE and followed their instructions. The thing is the fans run all the time and probobly don't need to. How have you guys hooked them up ? Thanks in advance.

I have mine running when the car is on. So mine run all the time as well. There are other options. You can have the relay trigger run to the water pump so they only turn on when the water pump does. The other option is to run a switch for the ground line of the fans to turn them on and off. Some have the switch running into the car. Personally I was thinking of buying these (http://www.americanmuscle.com/brakebattery-kit-0509.html) and putting a switch on the battery one to turn them on and off. That is just my thoughts of a future mod and I think it would look clean. Van has a thread with diagrams on how to wire it to the pump. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/41274-revan-racing-heat-exchanger-installation/page__st__60

Mine runs on the radiator fan circuit. It's also wired so I can turn on the Afco pump and fan with a separate switch (key on/motor off) in the staging lanes.

I've also had to have my car jumped a few times.

Can the alternator keep up with recharging the battery with all accessories on (AC High, stereo etc) and the draw of the fans in stop and go traffic?

I have now found my battery does not have the same kick it once had. I am going to wire it up so i can turn the fans off.

I have the h/e pump "tricker" (20 amp fuse mod) on mine, so h/e fans and intercooler pump now come on with the "key on" position. Good for the staging lanes, other than that I don't mind the fans on all the time with the engine running.

Would you know where I could find that mod ? Thanks Seahorse
