Ok, so a bunch of views but not one comment or question. Is there something I'm missing here? Chime in and let me know whats up.

Since you asked.... it's WAY too high priced.

It's a 2008 vert.

Yes, it's the "special" red stripe edition... but you're not gonna get that kind of premium for it. 9000+ miles is well used - it's not like it's a 100 mile garage queen.

Sorry - just the truth. That's the price from 2 years ago. Maybe.

Plus, it might help to post your city/state so people can see it if it's local - that helps.

I agree, I have been helping my girlfriend shop for a GT500 the avg price on an 08 $32,500-$38,000 and all 8 cars we looked at had less than 3000 miles 2 were convertibles 1 was $36K other was $38K with 300 miles.

Found one 07 with 800 miles for $29,800 but she has her hart set on a 08-09 because they have a few more up grades over the 07's

Honest guy says that since you asked, your asking price of $45K is about $8 to $10 K too much if you really want to sell it.

You found a low milage 08 for 32.5k? That's a good price. Does she own it yet?:)

Thanks, all. I really do want to sell it. I will have to do some soul searching on the price. Thanks for the honest feedback.

I'm in Charlotte, NC. We have a good representation of Shelbys and quality performance shops here. These cars are just awesome in quality and performance.

The $45k price tag is a little more than $2k more than I paid for mine w/7mi on the showroom floor in April, '09.

The Red Stripe Pkg was a $1,600 factory option. :banana_hitit:

His is a vert, though. That adds a few grand to the price.

But you're right - the $45k is way out of line right now.

I paid 36.9 for my 08 in Feb 2010, it had 1780 miles on it.

BTW what is a vert?

vert is short for Convertable.... us and our silly acronyms, huh? Well, abbreviations I guess..

Seems like the Vert MSRP was about 5k over the Coupe.
