This really is not an issue per say, but wanted some feedback. I put the car on the dyno last Thursday to just get a baseline to work from for possible future mods and also to ensure everything was holding up. This was done with about 750 miles on the car.

I took it to the shop that did the tuning on my Civic, but my tuner is not there anymore. The owner was running the dyno, but he is mainly a carb guy. I could tell he was having some trouble getting the dyno set. Anyway, he said the car was cutting at around 5100rpm. At first I was thinking that maybe the load was not set right on the dyno. I realized that the car must be hitting the governor.

If I remember the gov. is set at 155mph from the factory. I am sure he was using fourth gear to pull, but that speed at 5100rpm seems a little high for fourth gear. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks in advance!

Oh, and it threw down 478tq to the ground =) I at least was able to get that out of it....lol

EDIT: Nevermind. I just found out he was using fifth gear instead of fourth. A mod can delete this post if they want.
