Maybe I'm being too picky but I'll ask anyway. When cruising in 6th gear and I let off the gas and then get back on, there is a slight clunk. Nothing crazy, but not a smooth transition like I'm used to. Anyone else experience this?
Thanks

the problem is you don't know how to drive a stick.

:silly:

I don't know how fast you were going, but after letting off the gas in 6th gear, shift it into 5th. Clunking usually means you are in the wrong gear.

I have not experienced it. Does this happen at slow speeds in town or on the freeway?

this car has more drive train noise then I have ever heard, especially at low speeds/low RPM

It is most likely your driveshaft / rear gear play that your hearing. When you go from coast (deaccelrating) to engaged (accelerating) that is the total play in both making the noise. It is somewhat normal. If you think it's excessive take it back to the dealer and let him measure the free play to see if it is out of specification.
