Thanks Daddy's GT500 12-21-2009, 08:32 AM the problem is you don't know how to drive a stick. :silly: I don't know how fast you were going, but after letting off the gas in 6th gear, shift it into 5th. Clunking usually means you are in the wrong gear. 07Ebony 12-21-2009, 11:21 AM I have not experienced it. Thanks It is most likely your driveshaft / rear gear play that your hearing. When you go from coast (deaccelrating) to engaged (accelerating) that is the total play in both making the noise. It is somewhat normal. If you think it's excessive take it back to the dealer and let him measure the free play to see if it is out of specification.
