I just sold a new TS member whos been looking for a GT500 ..... a Vapor 09 coupe in NC .... and he cant wait to pick it up .. but during my search for his eventual car ... I ran across a dealer .. who I have spoken to many times in the past 2 years .... and he never wanted to give up the SHELBY at any decent discount.

He just informed me that he will sell the vehicle for $38893.58 plus his dealer fee of $195 ... and beyond that ... tax tag and title.

This Vista blue coupe has 7 miles on it. NEVER TITLED ... its brand new from a dealer. FULL 3yr 36000 mile warranty from the date you buy it !!!! Its always been in the showroom floor ... never rained on never driven !!!!!!

Can they do the clutch/tranny TSB on it before delivery? Hate for a new owner to have a problem after a few thousand (at most) miles on a 2 year old car.

The problem has to be evident because a TSB in not a automatic recall.

That said .... if the problem comes into play ... or the driver feels there is a issue .... my expierence is that Ford will go in and correct the problem.

Therefore there shouldnt be any issue regardless of what clutch/pressure plate is in the car.

This price makes the car !!

This car is in the North ... I find cars all over the country so its not at our store in Florida.

Also ... ask anyone .... this is ONE HELL OF A DEAL .... brand new with 7 miles ... untitled full warranty .... for this price.
We had a buyer for it but he had some complications .... so I advertised it .... have several people interested ... but Im actually surprised it hasnt sold.

Buy it Razorback, stay away from the new style :) Albeit biased, I have the same year and color. Good luck if you end up with it. For $40K it's a steal. Also, the NAV unit if it doesn't have it, don't worry about it. It's pretty archaic to what is already out there..

I have to go back to my bank for another loan. I had a preapproved bank check but I let it expire. Until I have that in hand, I'm just a looker. I've only been researching this type car for about a week so I really want to do some more homework anyway before I jump. I appreciate the nudge in the back 08ShelbyGT500. :)

My client asked me how mad would I be if I found him a Perf White in CA ( state where he resides ) after he has already put a deposit on this Vista Blue. Soooooooooooooooooooo Saturday evening here ... Saturday afternoon in CA ... I find a beautiful Perf White GT500 w/ NAV .... talk to Jason .. the buyer of this VIsta BLue thats located in Ohio .... and in less than 4 hours structure a deal .... that Jason is thrilled with and now is a owner of a 2009 Perf White/blue stripe Nav GT500

Soooooooooooooooooo that means the 08 Vista blue is back on the market

THis car has been inspected by a forum member who owns a GT500 ..... the is in great shape ... and at the great price of $38,893 !!

Not many options on this car. No Nav, no Shaker 1000, no HID. He needs to go lower IMO. The GT500 market is down right now.

I can appreciate your point of view but I specialize in this area and the price is just that ... incredible. Sellers on ebay and auto trader are trying to sell thier used 08's with miles and some of the factory warranty used up in the same price range. This GT500 ... warranty starts when you buy ... your the first owner .... NADA says :

This car ... Im a lost for words .... car is legit ... brand new ... never titled and even had a fellow forum member look at it when we thought we had it sold. The car is fine. I had two deals fall through on it and none were issues dealing with the car.

This car was still available last I checked in late Dec .... dealer isnt real happy with the two deals that fell through but that is life ... and out of those two deals ... one of those customers bought a car from me ... he was in Ca and wanted a different color at the last second .. so we got him a perf white.

Just a comment on the 08 pricing. When I was looking for a 2010 back in early 2009, a local SoCal dealership advertised in the local paper a new 09 GT500 Shelby Vapor, with Nav for $37999. I went to the dealer, looked at the car, but decided to wait for the 2010.

I am sure they were probably loosing a few bucks on the deal, but an 08 priced at $38,893????? Back then, Ford wasn't doing as well as it is now which may explain things.

negotiate. That being said, and as I mentioned in our private messages, that car is stale inventory. And my offer was made in early December.....almost 60 days ago. I will clean the cobwebs up for 36,000.

Is this damn car going to be on his lot when the 2012's come available or what???? :)
