Firstly I love the GT 500!
Unfortunately, I have experienced poor service at Blue Oval Industries. I was yelled at and hung up on. Has anyone else had similar problems. Just wanted to let the GT 500 nation know to avoid future problems.

I purchased my FRPP cai from them. Fast shipping and no problems what so ever.

Bought a few things from them. Never less than professional. Sorry your experience wasn't the same.

Yes I agree my original order was delivered quickly however hope you never need a refund. I had been charged for parts, waited 3 months on backorder and when I asked to cancel the order I was yelled at and hung up on. I had to have Visa cancel payment.

Wow I have ordered lots of stuff from them w/ no issues.

They even sent my wheels direct to Weldcraft to have them widened w/o issue.

After about the 50th "I hate Blue Oval Industries" post, one gets a little tired of it and loses any sympathy for the posters. People are constantly advised on the Corral, Stangnet, BBB, Ebay, and other sites that they might have issues.

Like bj, I have ordered several times from them (Blue Oval Industries) and always got prompt shipment and what I ordered. I have never talked to anyone there, so that might be different. Most recent purchase was KR muffs ordered on 10/3 and received 10/7. :pimp:

I did have issues with LFP, but in my communications with them they were always "Customer Friendly".

Made quite a few purchases from them with no problem. But from everything I have read, if you do have problems, you may by SOL. They apparently have no people skills what so ever. Makes you wonder if the people there have some type of psychological problems since they all seem to lose control of themselves and start yelling.

With the tough economy you would think customer service would improve huh? Seems like a lot of compainies just don't get it!!

I am having isues right now with Blue Oval, seems they charged my CC, said they send an e-mail saying I owe aditional freight (which I never recieved) never shiped the order so I canceled and now they want to charge me 15% restocking fee.
we will see what happens.

Gotta love that restocking fee.....especially for an order you were never shipped/recieved!! I could see if they sent it to you, and you send it back opened.

I got it worked out. had to stop payment on my CC. Everything is fine.
Now I just know ware to shop or in this case not to shop. They do have some nice stuff which I could use but with the additional trouble and lack of service I will try elceware first.

That's too bad. I have always had good service from Blue Oval.

I've found it depends which particular dealer you use. i've ran into a lot of people that try and do performance mods or parts ordering through dealers that don't really specialize in that type of work. granted it shouldn't make a difference but sometimes its easier to find a dealer that promotes themselves as being a mods dealer even if they are not the closest to you. sad to hear some people were yelling and hanging up tho... their mothers just didn't raise them right lol

I think the easy solution for OEM Ford parts or Ford Racing items is to buy them from Steve at Tousley Ford. Order online or call direct and they assist and have great pricing, and fast shipping. I have purchased everything from trim pieces to a Terminator Long Block Re-man motor.....Very good service...

I had an issue with them late last year. I had ordered a few items on eBay and after my purchases, they told me one of the items was out of stock and would not be in for a few weeks. I called them and the guy on the phone kept hanging up on me before I could spill my item number. I told him I wanted a refund on the out of stock item and he freaked. He ended up stopping my order dead in its tracks and had the items he had already shipped recalled. So it took me almost two weeks to get a refund. The guy was a total ass, not friendly and nowhere near professional. Needless to say, I left negative feedback. I then ordered the same items from Shelby American, the sales person informed me that he had heard things like that about Blue Oval.

A+ on Tousley. I had problems with BOI also. Needless to say they will NEVER see another penny from me.

I have had trouble with them as well. Not very nice to deal with. I figured I would buy another item to see if things had changed. Now the guy will not even sell anything to me. Not real professional by any means.
