I spoke to a dealer friend of mine who has a 2008 Alloy GT500 Coupe available.

I normal market these cars myself but if someone is going to take advantage of the $3000 marketing allowance available ... ie CUSTOMER REBATE. With time running out I am going to have those interested in this car contact the dealer directly.

The car has the shaker 1000, sirrius sat radio,HID's, GT500 trim pkg, ambient lighting and the silver strip .. VERY VERY SHARP CAR

Invoice is $43,100.98 less half the holdback (1353 or $676.50). That means your cost to you is $42,424.48 less the $3000 +++ ( tax is based on the purchase price )

no doubt ..... it definitly is interesting finding GT500's and KR's for fellow forum members.

I find dealer who still think they can get $5000 over msrp or better ..... but most are realistic that these cars are soft now. Most GM's realize that if they can get a GT500 off there floor plan.... they free up around $40000 that could be used to floor 3 or more vehicles that sell much faster
Time has come and gone for the $3000 rebate ..... but i will keep my eye out to see if ford starts offering any other programs similiar to this !!!
