Well I finally got an email from BBK that there throttle bodies are out for the Shelby GT500. I have used BBK before on 2 other mustangs with no trouble so I am guess this should be the same however this is drive by wire ? So anyone have this thing yet. Check out the link.... the price is right also. It is not a mono blade but I have heard pro's and con's about the idle quailty of the mono blade from other forums but you know how that goes. Not sure what the difference is between ours and the one they have for sale that gives 7-12 more hp. I am guessing more air in should mean another tune so would have to wait to the top tuners ( and you know who you are out there) will need to get one of these in and do a little testing. (hint hint)

I wonder if those are the throttle bodies Evo is using. Fred said he was waiting for them to come in, and they just came in this week.

Maybe that would be cool. BBK has been doing the TB thing for some time. I contacted them some time ago about a TB for the Shelbys and at the time they were working on it. Than a few months later I called back and they had one in Beta testing and said they were a few months out before releasing it. Now I get the email with the link from them. I know the mono blade is needed with the Kenny Bell and maybe others but someone on the Shelby site or SU whatever the hell the call it now, had the mono blade on a stage 2 setup and had issues with ruff idle and surges at low RPM's when you would jump on it. Could have been the tune who knows when it comes to the info on the internet. I know another tuner is working on a TB also so shortly there will be a couple to choose from. I would think that a tune will be needed since more air is coming into the car. I am guessing that things could be richen up a little. So I don't want to buy one and not have a tune for it. I will post up on SU site and see what info I find there, those guys are always on the bleeding edge :)

Don't do it..why put on a 65mm when stock is 60? at least put on a 150mm( dual 75) or a 160mm..and there is a tuning issue with the swap
