It's too much money. I want to wake up the throttle response and I think a CAI and Tune will do that.

Jay,

I just tried to call. I forgot we have a 3 hour time difference. Do you think that set up will give a little more snappyness to the gas pedal. Kinda eliminate some of the lag time. Does the CAI require that I flash a tune into the car like I did with my GT500. Also what's the HP gain, and what does the kit cost. I am just about ready to pull the trigger on this.

Is the Metco pulley system the one that has interchangeable pulleys via allen bolts?
If so, do they make a stock size pulley for it?

And would I need to send my SCT back for a new tune (I have your CAI)?

No chance I could trade the SCT in on the Livewire?

Thanks

When swapping the S/C pulley, you put on a hub piece...

http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb76/FastestShelby/Other%20mods/DSC00848.jpg

The ring (pulley) is bolted on with 5 allen bolts.

The rings are different sizes 2.8, 2.6 and 3.0 which is stock size.

The common ring, which I have, is the 2.6 pulley (ring).

Can an intake w/ pulley tune be emailed and loaded on someones tuner, or does it have to be sent in?

Will our tuners connect to a computer in some way or is it just the new tuners that do that?

Jay, so what you are saying is that the tuner for the 4.6 will come with 3 tunes loaded in it. One for 87, and one for 91, and one for 93.

This car is stock except for the Corsas, which octane should I go with ?

We have 91 in our area, but not the 93.

Yes your tuner can hook up to a computer as long as you have the interface cable.:D

Rob, the kit/tuner comes with all 3 tunes for you to pick.
You will gain the most on 93 or 91, but will still see a good gain on 87.

Much better throttle responce
Better and smoother pick up
Same or slightly better MPG
Color matched.
Cheaper, but better gains then ALL the rest!!

We have sold over 2000 05-up GT kits in the past 3 years. Search most any GT forum for tons of 3rd party results and comments.
The best recommendations are from the owners of the product. Please take that statement with you for every product you buy.

All other tunes are done by SCT directly.

Just installed the Silverhorse Racing window louvers!:bandit:

My new Stillen rotors were delivered today. I now have the Stillen rotors and the Porterfield pads. Just waiting for the new Asanti wheels and the Nitto tires due to be delivered next week.

Since I have the interior all torn apart, I'm going to install the dynamat to the floor and side panels before I put it all back together.

Also, finally installed the sequential tailights.

I think I need that 12 step program now.:ack:

The lower side scoops are made by 3DCarbon (stick on). I like them because they don't stick out much. I bought them painted and the paint matches perfectly. I have the window scoops also but didn't realy like the look along with the blind spot. Once I saw the Silverhorse racing louvers, that was it, had to have them.:D
