What did you guys do while waiting for your car to come in?

I've cleaned my garage etc. Now I'm actually finding out that I don't want to spend as much time on GT500 sites due to waiting for my car for so long. Mines been built and is waiting to be shipped. So hopefully in a few weeks it will be here as it was built on the 2nd and gate released on the 9th.

So what did you do while waiting for your car to come in?

Thought about the mods to come!!

I ordered Mods for my car.

I also installed mods on my wifes GT/CS.

Besides crying and moaning on this board and others, I just started buying stuff: new garage floor, exhaust, floor mats, radar detector, Zaino, and a little bit of Featherlax. :D

I cleaned the garage and took a vacation. The dealer called the day after I returned - said the car was ready for me to pick up. I really was not expecting it since it was just after the July 4th holiday and I know Ford shuts-down for a few weeks around that time.

Oh my car has been sitting for built for almost a month and has moved no where.. Why is that! What's so hard about putting a car onto a freaking railcar and attaching that railcar to an engine and then following a railroad track west? Why me oh why me???

i'm usually lucky to get 6 hours a day of sleep. I didn't get off work last night till 230 in the morning and got home and posted some. Went to bed for a few and here I am again before I go back to work. :eek:

Between the lack of sleep for the last couple of weeks. Due to screwed up shifts at work, and waiting for my freaking car to leave the plant (it's been sitting there since the 9th waiting to ship) I'm going nuts over here!!

I went right for the stage 4.:D Lots of fun putting headers on,sound great though.Had a lot of fun during Carroll Shelby's b-day bash setting off car alarms in the parking structures.:D Don't forget the suspension,mufflers,shift knob,motor mounts,brake pads,things that I have already forgot(I hate having C.R.S) and lots of bling.That C.C. was hot for a week.;)

Well I do still have to plan for a wedding in the coming months. :eek:

I can pick up a set of used LCA,UCA and adjustable panhard for 200 with my stage 2 kit that I might buy tomorrow. That should be good for starters at least!
