Thanks Yep, I've got the sill plates and plaque. Here's how you remove the old sill plates without damage... 1. Get yourself a heat gun or hairdryer and a length of fishing line. 2. Slowly and CAREFULLY apply heat to the sill plates. This softens the adhesive on the back of the plates. Too much heat can damage the plastic sill. 3. Feed the fishing line under one corner of the sill plate. 4. Grabbing each end of the fishing line, use a slow sawing motion to work the line under the sill plates. 5. As the sawing motion gets more difficult, apply more heat. Repeat as needed. 6. Clean off remaining adhesive with a light solvent like rubbing alcohol. If you work this carefully, your sill plates will come off with no damage. Andy 10-05-2007, 03:10 PM Thank you Thank you, I knew someone would have the answer to my question.
