Big Valley Ford and the Golden Hills Mustang Club hosted the 1st annual Mustang Rally Display, Saturday September 29th in Stockton Ca. There were only 13 cars on display, but the stangs that were there, were some of the nicest and rarest around. Have you won anything yet?

I have been to a couple shows, didn't win anything except for a Horsepower Contest! But I noticed that they like to give the prizes to the older cars. Hell, at one show they gave a trophy (top 60) to this old 68 drag car. It wasn't clean and looked like junk. It was probably at 8 or 9 sec car but no where near a show car.........there where probably about 150 cars in the show and I bet I could have picked 130 that were better looking show cars. At this particular show they only gave out 3 trophies to 1990 and newer cars.

I am not the car show type, I am not a detailer, I don't have that kind of time. I just wanted to show off my car, never expected a car show trophy because I know my car is not that clean. Not that it is dirty, just not the "car show type"

I do go to a lot of car shows and I have won a few times I have two 2nd place trophies and one 3rd place trophy. Most of the time I show my car it is just a mustang display with no judging just a show and shine kind of thing. I am going to a car show on Oct. 6th (maybe I will win something there), a Fall Cruise on Oct. 13th to Tahoe, a display on Oct. 14th, and then another dispaly on Oct. 27th. So needless to say I am going to be busy in October. I will post pics from all of these events you can count on that.
