Ask 07 SHELBY (FRED) cause I remember him talking about someone with a Line Lock set up on their GT 500.

Hey guys

I just saw this thread. I responded to the PM but thought I would post here as well...

I am using the Granatelli Tire Fryer line lock. I have it connected to my horn so there are no switches in the car. There is a switch under the hood. When I am driving around town I have it in the horn position (so the horn works). When I get to the track I set it to the line lock position so the linelock is activated by the horn button. I had my local shop install it when they were doing some other mods.

If you guys want I will post some pics or maybe a video.

I called Granatelli and ordered the linelock after your PM. It has TWO solenoids instead of just a single which seems a good idea, and it mounts right next to the ABS block(no muss,no fuss) But now the MILLION dollar question when you use the linelock do you unplug the ABS as it would sense the front wheels locked and the rears turning and try and compensate for this?? Let me know Thanks Mustangnut

i had a 2 solenoid on my 06 gt, won't affect the abs,

if i do one again, it will be a single solenoid, no advantage of having 2 except more wiring and another solenoid to go bad,
