Fall is approaching quickly which means it's that time of year for Realspeed's Annual Dyno Day and BBQ!

On Sunday October 2nd we will be holding our 7TH ANNUAL DYNO DAY!. All are welcome to come for free food and hang out or see how much HP you put to the wheels on our in house Mustang Dyno. Dyno runs will be from 10am-4pm and cost $60 (+tax) for 2 runs with HP, TQ, and Air Fuel printed on your dyno sheet. All participants for the Dyno must Pre-Register & Pre-Pay to ensure a timeslot for that day.

If there is extra time at the end of the day for a few more runs and you would like to run your car on the dyno the cost will be $75(+tax).

Please Mustangs only.

We will try to fit people in the time they would like, first come first serve. Please specify if you would like a morning time or an afternoon time.

Well, I'm out of that competition!! I'm finished with all my suspension mods, but all I got is a big JLT 127 CAI and a EVO tune. I'm using this as a baseline dyno before I do the supercharger upgrade over the winter... :)

Jessica told me that the Shelby's pretty much took over the morning!

This is the plan;

First we take over the morning, then the evening, and then Shelby's will rule the night!

Sorry, watched too much Pinky & the Brain....

Yeah, I'm bummed. I really wanted to get baseline #s before upgrading the supercharger this winter. My covering doc had a family emergency so I have no coverage for the weekend. I'm actually in the hospital now working - sucks! Anyway, looking forward to hearing peoples #s - make sure to post!

Just got back from Realspeed's "Dyno Day" and what a great time it was! Met a bunch of great people and got to see some really great cars too. Also saw some very LARGE dyno numbers laid down by a few of our forum members. They weren't lying either when they said that the Realspeed Mustang dyno is a heart-breaker. My numbers didn't win any prizes, but I'm happy to say that when you do the math they ain't awful. Best pull was 562whp & 529tq. Not too bad for a car with the minimal mods I've done so far!

Tried to call Dan, I guess he doesn't answer the phone on Sunday. Car decided to be a douche bag and started up in fail safe mod, no idea why and haven't been able to figure it out. Codes are P2104 and P2112 Throttle body stuck closed, and throttle actuator forced idle.

I have a VMP 72mm, the car has been fine with it for over 200 miles. We were going to data log and couldn't get the data logger to recognize the wide band on analog one. Thinking maybe the battery got run down or is heading south. Tried clearing code with the SCT tuner and they wouldn't clear. Tried diconnecting battery for 30 minutes and as soon as key went in fail safe came up on the instrument cluster with the same two codes, even though the car wasn't started. Also returned the car to stock and reloaded tune still same crap. I've never had issues like this from my vet or crossfire and I've owned them for years. If this a ford thing I'll be buying a ZR1 and dumping this.

I did not hit the rev limiter, it just decided to show up on start up. Sent an e-mail to Justin to see what he has to offer. Might end doing as you suggest and head up to NJ to wicked Motorsports if this is going to become a issue. Do you have any suggested tuners. Thanks

ThanksDan at Real Speed is top notch. my suggestion is to take a ride to the shop and speak with him. it's your car and you need to feel comfortable. i've never heard a bad thing said about Dan. fwiw a lot of the L.I. GM guys are now going to him, that says something LOL. the shop is clean and the staff is great. i've seen Dan have to fix other tuners tunes and make more power with less timing etc. my words not his. there's no need to go the Jersey. come down to the Sunday Oak Beach meet and ask about him. good luck, i was looking forward to seeing what you were gonna put down today. also pm Geoffcin, he was there for the first time today. he can give you an un-biased view.

No need to PM me, I'll give you my opinion straight up. First, this was my first time to Realspeed, I've never met Dan, or forum member Bull (Mike) for that matter. I did run into Mike's father at a show once and he recommended that I go to Realspeed's "Dyno Day". There was a discount for the pull ($65) and I really wanted to see what my car put down so I ponied up the money.

I can tell you that so far that has been the best investment I've made in the car. From the second I arrived at Realspeed I was treated like I was one of their long time customers. A shout out to the lovely Jessica for making that so! The shop is absolutely immaculate, and Dan is a highly focused perfectionist when it came to the dyno pulls. When he was doing my pulls it was like that was the only thing that mattered in the whole world. When he was done I got some good advice and not even the hint of a sales pitch. It's a good thing that in this business reputation makes all the sales pitch you need. The Mustangs were stacked 3 deep into the street and every one of the owners I talked with swore by Dan & Realspeed.

I've made my decision, and Realspeed is now MY shop of choice for all the work I'm having done to my GT500.
