Blew my V10 due to a loss of oil pressure because an oil bypass line hole. Evidently it rubbed the front driveshaft on my f350 crew cab 4X4 with the bigfoot camper on it. After 61000 miles it wore a hole. Putting a modified 5.9 cummins diesel in it's place. Having fun with this as they have bucko modifications for the cummins. 500 dependable HP is what I want. My friend has a sweet cummins and he's keeping me plumbed up to what my options are.Leaning towards an Allison 6 speed auto for the transmission. GGBIW:)

Keep us posted as to whether or not you'll pump out 500 horses from the Cummins replacement motor. Your F350 may give some unmodified GT500 a run for the money (at least a good scare). :D

Yeah,I know,It isn't about my Gt500,but in a way it is.I'm getting a 24' Featherlight aluminum enclosed car hauler to transprt the GT500 in. Getting 500 Hp is not hard to get out of a 5.9 cummins 24 valve. Got a sweet 2001 out of a 1 ton dodge dually for 2K on ebay! Going to "fire ring" machine cut the heads with special o rings and headgasket enabling boost in excess of 50. Won't run it at that boost very often but have the ability to if I need it. Havn't chosen a tranny yet. GGBIW

Decided to buy the new Ford F350 4X4 crew cab Harley 105th edition. I like the looks of it and decided to go with the V 10. I still am working on the cummins conversion but havn't had time to dedicate to it. GGBIW :roller:
