Been poking around a bit guys, but all the posts seem to be geared to the newer trannies. I'm having very very similar problems, only way worse. Is there a known problem in the 07s? I only have 2 weeks left on my waranty.

They have replaced the clutch and flywheel and it's only made it worse. I think they put it back together wrong. Clutch is slipping like crazy, and is super 'gooey'.

And to top it off it didn't fix any of the locking/grinding in first, second, or reverse. I've actually had it grab a gear while in neutral and almost put me into another car. The problem started off as a 1-2 shift grind and in the last month grew into a massive problem.

Any fast track for this? Got a real good repoir with the dealership and they do a decent job of taking care of my problems I've had in the past.

Any links to older posts would be greatly apreciated!

Thanks

Use the search feature. Plenty of info on the 07 clutch and tranny issues. You may have a great repoir with the dealership but sounds as though the tech deparment leaves alot to be desired.

Also... do you know if they replaced the clutch flywheel and assembly with the NEW GT500's parts? 2011's?

If not you need to tell them to give you a refund and do that.
Ford is supposed to be doing this on the 07-09 replacements if clutch and flywheel problems arise and need replacement.

Find a dealer with a good transmission technician. A good tech will be backed up on work. Typically a week or two. You need to get it in and have a repair order started before your warranty expires. Have them start the repair order and document your complaint / symtoms , even if they can't get to it for a week or two.. They can leave the repair order open till the repair is completed. Sounds like you still got clutch problems and maybe even a trans problem.

Yeah I read a lot about that problem on 07s.. and unfortunately its common mate..

TSB wasn't done right..make sure you go back in (or to another dealer) and get the problem recorded (an open ticket), so at least you wont blow the warranty period.

You need an aftermarket clutch and you'll be good to go

Perhaps the tech failed to properly bleed the CSC (concentric slave cylinder a.k.a. throw-out bearing) hydraulic lines.
