I am having a problem with my Sirrus radio on the 2008 Navi unit. It sounds like an FM station that is losing signal. Sound cuts in and out, static at times, and is getting worse as time goes on. Does not matter what direction I am driving. I do have the iSimple iPod adapter wired in, the stereo install shop has it going through the satellite connections. Do you think this is interfering with the satellite signal when the iPod is not connected?

Disconnect your iPod connection and see what happens. I have noticed that my reception is not all it what it was last year. Perhaps it is Sirius not sending a strong signal. At any rate, when my subscription ends at the end of summer, I will not renew it.

Update. I took out the iSimple unit and harness. Everything is back to normal.
