Dyno Tune Motorsports Held there first annual car show and horsepower contest.

I worked all night on Friday, drove the car into work, then went to the show when I got off at 7am. I was the first person there because the show wasn't supposed to start until 10am.

Only $5 to enter car show and $25 for the dyno. I really only went to get my car dyno'd at a discounted rate. I was the 4th car to go on the dyno and it was around 11am. not real sure on the temp outside at that time.....my guess would be about 75-80F.

When they were pulling my car on the dyno everybody stopped what they were doing and came inside the building to watch. I climbed up on the dyno and removed the cover to get to the plug wires. When I got down I heard some guys guessing what it will do. I heard 460 then 490. Some lady asked me what I thought it was going to do......I told her It will be over 500! She kinda looked suprised. I told her I did 503 the last time I was on here and I have installed the bassani 3" w/ out cats exhaust. So it will definitly be over 500 unless something is broke.

I hung out until 2:30 because I had to go to a wedding. I told the owner That I was leaving cause of the wedding. I asked him if there was a prize for the horsepower contest and did I have to be present to win. He told me if I won anything he would set it aside and I could pick it up later. He thanked me for at least making an appearce and said he understands why I had to go.
When I left I was over 100 hp up on any car so far.

This afternoon I stopped by the dyno shop and He shook my, hand me $100 cash:D , 1st place trophy:D , a jack, 2 jackstands, a creaper, 2 wheel chocks. I thought that was pretty cool.:D

You are now making positive gains with the Shelby. Having a good time attending shows and being the the upper crust. Thats a great place to be.

Congrats JJ!:D I didn't think the exhaust would make that much difference.:eek: Looks like I have to add that to my list.:)

I was going to wait until I recieved my drive shaft before I installed the exhaust. When I found out that there was a HP contest I had to slap the Bassani 3" from the stock exhaust manifold all the way back w/ NO cats. Man ole' Man does this thing sound good. I forgot my camera and camcorder so the only video on the dyno this time was with my phone and it is so loud that it blows the sound up on the phone and it just sounds like static.

I think I will probably end up doing the suspension next. But that might be a winter project.

Long tubes:confused: gives me a headache just thinking about installing them.

not sure what else I can do after that, any ideas. I am more about the "GO" and not so much the "SHOW"

Maybe a custom dyno tune:cool: but I want to make sure I am done with my performance mods before I do that.

I thought about gears. But hell I blow the tires off now!

I will be close to running or I might be faster than 11.49 in the 1/4 mile if I put tires on the car. And I don't want to put a cage in the car.

Maybe some drag radials?

Go for the Bassani long tubes to complete the exhaust. They do look sweet and if you appreciate the sound and performance now I am sure it will be worth the extra effort.;) Think of it as a fun project. NOT!:D :D

Ah JJ, go ahead and complete the set by adding the BLT (Bassani Long Tubes). I love my Kooks and the BLTs can't hurt. You edging to break the 550 RWHP range and I think by adding the BLTs, custom tune, you're definitely going in the right direction.

More get up and go faster goodies.

yes you are right. I will get used to this power and then it will feel slow and I will want more.:D :D
