Thanks Guys!! It's great to finally be a part of something worthy!! There were 4 candles ... each one 12 years ... Icouldnt blow them out of course ... and I just made the 48 yr old stat of the age demographic. First mod: radar detector!!

That's a good mod!!! Well worth the money. Saved me many times. Then maybe the next mod would be hood struts so you can get rid of that @#$%^% prop rod. Then you MIGHT think about a backup-camera. That car is LOW and the visibility to the rear isn't the best. You back into something and .....

Glad that you ARE old enough to drive the car, you had me worried there for a minute.

One comment, the Mustang manual stinks as far as the index goes and you might find it useful to download the manual and then you can look up stuff far better.

And the Shelby does NOT have the skip shift feature even though the manual claims that all V-8s have it.

You need to build up your stamina for driving the Shelby though since you didn't have enough wind to blow out 4 candles!!! But you'll get there!!!

Thanks for the tips and info!! It's much appreciated!! While I work up my stamina (LOL), I'm going to get familar with this car for a while. I have a roadtrip booked for July, so that is the most exciting thing in the headlights besides the fun of driving this machine.

that might not have been my 1st mod but it was right up there.

I did install the Cal Pony hood struts but also kept the prop rod in place.
