What Is The Best 11" Wide Wheel Offset?

Hi All, I Was Wondering If Anyone Is Running 18x11-19x11 Or 20x11 Without Issues. I Would Like To Know What Offset You Are Running And What Tire Size On The Rear? Also If You Had To Modify Anything? I Appreciate All Your Input.

Thanks
George

I'm not sure you can go 11 wide without some die grinder use....

Re: What Is The Best 11" Wide Wheel Offset?

I have the Steeda Spyders 20x11, but I'm only running 295s INVOs for now, as that was the deal at the time. I'll keep you updated when I jump to a 315 or 335... There's no rubbing issues, but I'm not sure of the offset, I'm sure Steeda could tell you if you gave them a call.

I had the stock rims widend to 11" and run 335 30 ZR 18 Nittos on the back. Fit great with no grinding necessary.

Re: What Is The Best 11" Wide Wheel Offset?

When I was researching I also inquired about offset numbers. None were ever divulged.

Even the wheel manufacturer I used prefered not to disclose the numbers only stating "We've done a GT500, we know what they should be."

Re: What Is The Best 11" Wide Wheel Offset?

I just now saw your posting - for me I got 11" wide wheels from CCW (SP500's). I ordered them to be 52mm offset in the rear, and they are perfect. I run Toyo drag radials 315/35/18 on the rears. By the way, I still have at least 1/2" clearance to the inside from my tires to the shock, so pleanty of space when parking or going over uneven surfaces so they will not rub.

J&M Billet LCA's & adjustible UCA
Fore Billet Fuel Rails, L&M Throttle Body
Stiegemeier Ported & Polished Plenum
Shelby Billet Short Shifter, 3.73 gears
CCW SP500 Forged Wheels 18x9.5 & 18x11
Toyo TQ Drag Radials 315/35/18
Girodisc 2-piece rotors front & rear

No, I have the FRPP racing springs which lower the car 1.25" all the way around.

Re: What Is The Best 11" Wide Wheel Offset?

Man I REALLY like those tires and wheels, BIG and PHAT! They look like they really hook up. I know that a lot of folks on here like the 19's and 20's. Yes they are more glamourous but these bad buys look like they mean BUSINESS. Do share, how do they ride, hook up etc....... Spare no details.
