Help, guys! My vapor colored GT500 screams for Eleanor wheels? I have tried contacting American Racing, twice..but no reply. I dont see the shelby 427 wheels in a 18" or 19" to fit my 2008 GT-500? I have checked their website. Does any other companies make a 427 shelby knock-off wheel? A think a 19" would be perfect on my car. I was hoping AMR made a set to fit, but I can't get any help from them?
Thanks,
Mach
I didn't check the size offerings, but I saw this brand on a Cobra replica on Mecum over the weekend. I was thinking of the Cobra III's, but I don't see them offered in the wheels section. Halibrand Engineering
Not sure I'm feeling that design personally but whatever makes you happiest. I do think Vapor looks better with darker colored wheels, especially if you have black stripes. Here are the 20" setups I've run, a set of 19's with slightly taller tires will give you a non-rubber-band look to the car.
Current Machined/Tinted wheels with matte black barrels.
Former bright silver that I felt clashed with the darker Vapor Silver and the black
I've always liked the darker grey "Bullitt" wheels....but I'm not sure they would look right on a GT500, even if they did make them in the right size???
